On 3 November 2020 the IHR Parliament, Politics and People seminar will be a hosting a virtual seminar via Zoom with Michael Taylor, the author of The Interest: How the British Establishment Resisted the Abolition of Slavery (2020). Michael will be answering questions on his paper ‘The West India Interest and Colonial Slavery in Parliament, 1823-33’.
