Biography

This MP was probably the John Brown who, during the reigns of Richard II and Henry IV, occasionally brought consignments of tin to Lostwithiel to be coined and stamped. One such, recorded in June 1409, weighed some 4,200 lbs. The same or another John Brown, described as ‘of St. Neot’ , was similarly engaged in 1420.
