Biography

Nothing more is known of him for certain.

It is not inconceiveable, however, that he was the Richard Hurst who had been appointed in Oct. 1395 as dep. in the ports of Winchelsea and Rye for the chief butler of England, Thomas Brownflete (CPR, 1391-6, p. 616).
