Biography

John may have been related to William Wyot, who was to be a bailiff of Weymouth in 1419-20, but, unless he was the man who in 1427 was licensed to transport 80 pilgrims to the shrine to St. James at Compostella on his barge the Thomas of Saresbury, nothing more is known about him.
