Biography

Richard Trenchard’s father settled on him a manor in the Isle of Wight and another in Wiltshire: to this inheritance he added by purchase the manor of Cuttridge in North Bradley, Wiltshire, which became his residence. He died on 31 May 1560, leaving a son of nearly four, and his widow was granted letters of administration of his estate on the following 10 June.3
