One of the 48 of Salisbury 1540, of the 24, 1555-65; mayor 1558-9; common councilman, Southampton by 1566, mayor 1566.

Biography

Eyre was a Salisbury merchant about whom little is known after he moved to Southampton in about 1565. The 1st Earl of Pembroke was presumably responsible for his return at Weymouth.2
