Biography

A younger son, Jones’s first marriage brought him what status he had in Carmarthenshire. He voted against a government bill in 1555. Nothing is known of him as a Member of the 1559 Parliament. He was described as ‘wilful and desperate’ by an adversary in a Star Chamber suit of about 1577, which is the last known reference to him.
