Biography

Drax was brought in at Corfe Castle on the Bond interest at a by-election in 1744. Like his father a follower of the Prince of Wales, he voted with the Prince on the Hanoverians in 1746. At the general election of 1747 he and his father were returned but unseated on petition. He died December 1789.
