Biography

Returned for Yarmouth in 1725 on the government interest, Morgan voted with the Administration in all recorded divisions, except on the excise bill when he was absent. Succeeding his father as lieutenant-governor of the Isle of Wight in January 1731, he died 24 Apr. 1733.
