Biography

Sabine, who was commissioned in his father’s regiment soon after birth, was returned for Bossiney on petition by the Administration in 1741, but was unseated on a further petition after the fall of Walpole. After his father’s death he transferred to the 1st Foot Guards, fought in the war of the Austrian succession, and left this regiment before 1749.2 He died 14 July 1776.
