Biography

Herbert was returned in place of his father on the Powis interest at Ludlow. Robinson in his first survey on the royal marriage bill, March 1772, listed him as ‘pro, present’, and as ‘pro’ before the general election of 1774, but there is no record of any vote or speech by him. Herbert did not stand again in 1774.

He died May 1779.
