Biography

Lee was returned for Newport by Humphry Morice, brother-in-law of Sir George Lee. Shortly before his return Sir George Lee tried to obtain a place for him from Newcastle,1 and when George went back into opposition John followed him and voted against the Address, 13 Nov. 1755. By 1761 he was back with Administration.  He died in November 1761.
