Sparke’s name appears on the Bedford burgess roll of 1399. He attested the indentures for the borough elections to the Parliaments of November 1414, December 1421, 1422, 1423, 1427 and 1431. In 1424 and again in 1427 he witnessed deeds in Bedford.
