Biography
Hele was returned for Plympton on the family interest. An inactive Member of the Cavalier Parliament, he was named only to the committee (6 July 1661) to consider the charges against James Philipps, but he probably supported the Government. He made his will in May 1664, ‘considering my natural frailty’, and died at Wigborough in his father’s lifetime on 13 Sept. 1665. He was buried at South Petherton.2
