b. ?1679, 3rd s. of Fulke Greville, M.P., 5th Baron Brooke of Beauchamps Court, by Sarah, da. of Francis Dashwood, alderman of London. educ. Wadham, Oxf. 18 Apr. 1697, aged 17; All Souls, Oxf. 1699; M. Temple 1697. unm. suc. to fa.’s seat at Twickenham 1710.

Offices Held


Doddington Greville, who had considerable personal wealth,1 represented Warwick on his family’s interest in six successive Parliaments. A Tory and member of the October Club, he was absent from the division on the septennial bill in 1716, but voted against the repeal of the Occasional Conformity and Schism Acts and the peerage bill in 1719. He did not stand in 1727, dying 11 Feb. 1738.
