Biography
Thomas Missing built a workhouse at Poole in 1739 at a cost of £500.2 Returned there in 1741, presumably in view of his trading connexions with America, he voted with the Administration in all recorded divisions. Falling out with his fellow Member, Joseph Gulston,3 before the 1747 election, he did not stand again. He died 25 Sept. 1788.
