Biography
Palmer was the grandson of Sir Geoffry Palmer, a staunch royalist, who was made attorney-general, and created a baronet at the Restoration. Re-elected as a Tory for Leicestershire in 1715 after two expensive contests,1 he voted against the Administration in all recorded divisions, but did not stand again. He died 29 Dec. 1732.
