Biography
John Lloyd was a close friend of Thomas Johnes, and belonged to the circle which included Sir Charles Hanbury Williams, Richard Rigby, and Henry Fox. In 1754 he was returned unopposed for Cardiganshire on the Whig interest, by a compromise which left the borough to the Tories. He died 3 June 1755.
