Biography

There is little to say about Thurston, who filled the usual corporation offices, and once represented Norwich in Parliament. As one of the Norwich burgesses he could have sat on committees concerned with the penal laws (2 Nov. 1601), the main business (3 Nov.), and the true payment of tithes at Norwich (27 Nov.). His will, made 28 Feb. 1619 and proved by one Thomas Holle on 3 May 1621, mentions no wife or children.
