Biography

Mackenzie’s father gave him the estate of Cromarty soon after 1685 and resigned the baronetcy to him in 1704. Returned in 1727 as a government supporter2 for Cromartyshire, which he had represented under Anne, he died shortly afterwards, 13 Sept. 1728.
